Fishy Tales
Set in the centre of the Dengie Peninsular, Southminster is a great place to base yourself for a weekend. With points of interest from the Chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall at Bradwell (built in 654 AD) to the more modern vineyards of the Crouch Valley or the bustling marina at Burnham with its restaurants and pubs. Borowaters is the perfect location to explore the local area. Our marshals this weekend were Kevin & Dawn who have now organised this event for 10 years. They were very ably assisted by Lynn & Den who themselves have been very active in running events, this is one of three consecutive weekend where they have marshalled. They all will be due a well earned rest soon. As the members arrived they were warmly welcomed and settled into their pitches.
