Hintlesham Fisheries 21st-23rd June 2024 S o, the weather finally broke and the sun made a long overdue appearance, temperatures started to rise and smiles on peoples faces flourished as a result. This venue has been a regular in our programme for a good few years and it is a mystery why it does not get better support. Although primarily a fishing venue, the owners have landscaped and improved the trees and flora to a high level. A refurbished CCC 5 site overlooks lakes and looks well maintained. With the site just 2 miles from Copdock it is an area we know well. Our rally field was away from the 5 site and at the bottom corner of the venue. Surrounded by trees and well maintained grass..... it has developed into a beautiful site. There is more work planned here to convert an area used by the Scouts to increase the size of the rally field to allow bigger attendances. As a fisherman, there are not many sites where you are just a few meter...
